I was in the fitness industry for a couple years back in a former life, and concur that this is the “hot” time for those New Year’s promises…they typically trickle off after a month or so and it’s back to normal for most…and nearly all by May.

Good luck to any of you jumping on the fitness bandwagon. Just remember, that for everything in life –  beer and fitness included – moderation and balance is actually the right long-term stragegy. You won’t get sore, you won’t burn out and you’ll enjoy the your progress for a lifetime, rather than starting over again next year.
