Frankemuth, Michigan’s “Little Bavaria” – and I say that with my tongue firmly in my cheek – is home to a pretty good beer fest this weekend, entitled the World Expo of Beer. It’s hosted by the local Jaycees and is one of the largest non-Michigan Brewers Guild events in the state.

I spent a few hours sampling last year and can attest that it’s a nice event – aside from being primarily indoors during the nice weather. There were some cool brands in attendance and a variety ranging from Bells’, PBR, Unertl to a number of ciders among their 300 brews.

If you’re in the neighborhood, check it out.
