The State of Michigan is considering legislation that would outlaw retailers (restaurants, bars and taaverns) from selling any pint containing less than 16 ounces. For a guy who’s tired of “cheater pints,” the scooners with the thick bottoms that actually hold about 11-12 ounces with any head on the pour, this would be welcome. If nothing else, it might lead to a consumer push back on these “less-than-you-pay-for” servings.
