HOORAY!
Someone with enough sense to come in out of the rain observed the same problem we mentioned last week in criticizing “lazy journalists.” Even better, they actually put together a REAL list of the top brewing regions/cities in the U.S.
Unlike the dingbats we referenced then, this is probably one of the best collections we’ve seen. It’s real, even-handed, and written by someone who gives a hoot. He’s actually the same writer who helped criticize the list above, while claiming he didn’t have time for a list. Nonetheless, he did one. And he gets it right.
See: AMERICA’S TEN BEST BEER CITIES
See? That wasn’t so hard, was it?

Guys, thanks for the kind words. Yeah, I really didn’t have time to do this list but I kept thinking about all those potential craft beer fans reading those other lists, going to those under-realized towns, and finding very little. If it were me and that happened, I’d probably say, “THIS is a great beer town? Jeez, craft beer must suck everywhere else!” SOMEBODY had to do a proper one and I decide to tackle it. If I got most of it right, I’m happy. Just liked you guys on FB. I’ll be checking in often!

Thanks for stopping by, Stephen!
I see you’re staying plenty busy replying to comments on your post as well.
Keep up the good work – and ask people to read all the comments before posing the same “What about Sonoma Co/Russian River?” question again
